Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) has reported exceptional results in its yearly report for 2012. The franchise’s success saw it eclipse many of its previous trading records, the highlight being the annual consulting revenue which broke the £11 million mark, the highest achieved in the group’s 20 year history.
In addition, ERA had more franchisees earning a six-figure annual salary than in any previous year. Derek Hodd, ERA associate since 1999, became the proud winner of the ‘Highest Income Performer’ award at the annual conference with turnover just short of £400,000.
It wasn’t just the record trade, in a sector that is benefiting from the need for businesses to operate as efficiently as possible in the current economic climate, that pleased the company; in 2012 five franchisees renewed their franchise agreements after reaching the 10-year mark with ERA.
ERA continued to delight their existing clients. The franchise says that the Royal Academy of Dance, a client since 2008, have now saved over £1m as a result of the work of the network. A record number of new clients were signed up and are on their way to seeing substantial savings, including a range of schools and educational institutions, retailers, manufacturers, leisure and arts venues, sports clubs and charitable organisations.
ERA remains a wholly family-owned and independent organisation, with a network now 150-strong since its beginnings in 1992; it will be hoping 2013 can match or better the strong growth enjoyed during the last 12 months.
