Welcome to this years awards

Inclusivity - Involve and evolve to grow franchising in great britain

The bfa is proud of the standards its members uphold to the world at large and one of the most important objectives is to celebrate those standards. For more than 30 years now the bfa has hosted annual awards to showcase the very best in British franchising.

Building and maintaining a strong, successful network, one that fulfils the mutual needs and objectives of both the franchisor and the franchisee, requires a huge

investment of time, effort, and commitment, not to mention considerable skill and judgement. The ethos of the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards is about recognition and reward for this effort and achievement, and as the top accolades of the franchising industry, they set out to acknowledge the most outstanding performers within it.

It is a tremendous honour for franchisors and franchisees to be shortlisted and one that can reap major benefits for the winning brands for many years. However, as many discover, the very process of entering these awards can also bring valuable business benefits as preparing the entry gives the brand an opportunity to reassess their business strategy and objectives. These established awards really put the finalists in the spotlight too with a PR reach in excess of 74 million and a PR value of over £1.1 million.

“The bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards recognises and promotes outstanding professionalism within this increasingly important market sector. I’m proud to chair the judging panel, we seek to reward those who are constantly striving for excellence and hear some incredible stories of success”.

Pip Wilkins, British Franchise Association CEO
