The judging process

Finalists are invited to attend a judging interview in central London on either Wednesday 20 May or Thursday 21 May.

Finalists cannot change the date or time of their interview. All entrants must make sure they are available on both days of the judging until their award category date is confirmed nearer the time. If finalists are unable to attend their judging interview they will be disqualified from the awards process.

What happens at the judging?
The judging interview will last for 30 minutes and will consist of a presentation from the finalist company (15 mins) and a Q&A with the panel of judges (15 mins). After the interview, finalists will have their photo taken both with the judges and on their own. The pictures will be sent to each finalist and will also be used for publicity in the run-up to the announcement of the winners.

More information and guidelines for finalist presentations can be found here.

All winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Thursday 25 June at the ICC, Birmingham.

Please note
The judging panel are unfortunately unable to give individual feedback on why a company was not successful, due to the volume of entries received and complex judging process.

Trophy Pet Foods - Franchisee case study

Hi, we’re Matt & Jen Snell the proud owners of Trophy Swindon & North Wiltshire Ltd. Our story starts with both of us having worked for large corporate organisations for the last 10 years. The last few years have been particularly difficult, as we feel that our employers have lost sight of what true customer service is. In short, we felt that we could do better if we were more able to drive the businesses ourselves.
