Cargo2Go is a same day courier and transport company, founded in Manchester in 2006. We operate 24/7/365 and provide companies with the full range of transport services, from small vans up to artics. We have a wide customer base from sole-traders to UK blue chip companies and deal with hundreds of jobs every day. Since 2006 we have seen year on year organic growth and are now looking to expand our UK network via franchising.
Our first franchise began in 2011 with further additions to this franchise operation added in 2014 & 2016, reflecting the success of this business. It is now a thriving and highly respected concern in the Yorkshire area. We now seek to expand the UK network along similar lines in the rest of the UK, with brand new territories available in many major UK cities and business areas.
The courier and logistics sector has proved itself to be impressively resilient during the Covid-19 pandemic and we have seen strong revenues over the course of 2020. If you are looking for a franchise opportunity that can weather all the economy can throw at it, we are definitely worth evaluating
As part of your initial franchise fee, you will be given thorough franchisee training, both office-based and field-based, in how to set up and build your franchise. This comprises site visits from Cargo2Go directors, all of whom have proven backgrounds in building successful franchise operations and will share this knowledge with you.
In your first 3 months of trading you will receive 25 days of training.
This will cover, IT set up, software, operational, sales, bookkeeping, customer service, customer retention and marketing.
Thereafter you will have regular refreshers and updates from head office staff, to ensure the smooth running of your franchise.
You should be in the office from 07:30am and a typical day will include a combination of operations, sales and marketing. Sales is primarily field-based with you or a member of staff being out on patch, hand delivering leaflets and marketing material to prospective customers.
To back this up you will then need to phone and pitch the Cargo2Go offering to potential customers by way of sales calls.
Plus, you will need to deal with marketing matters, such as mail shots, both electronically and physical mail. Social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Linked In is also becoming more and more prevalent.
Toward the end of the day you will need to ensure that all jobs are allocated and covered for the next day, plus all jobs for today have been completed and goods delivered with a signed POD.
All invoicing and credit control is taken care of by head office and is part of your franchise fee, leaving you free to build and grow your business.
Out of hours calls are managed via a simple phone divert.
