Afrikana is an African inspired restaurant brand serving an array of food with a unique African twist. Originating from Aldridge, a small town in the Midlands in 2018, a gap in the current hospitality market saw the start of an African inspired table service restaurant offering high-end food infused with beautiful African flavours.
In 2019 Afrikana experienced a year of fast paced growth, progression and development taking the step in becoming a Franchise business. This resulted in multiple franchise licenses being sold and opening throughout the UK. Afrikana aims to establish a wholesome experience, from the music and art to the food and service.

Afrikana is available across a range of models from food court kiosk through to large dine in restaurant. There is a model available for all investment levels.
Franchisee training consists of a comprehensive training program spanning 4 weeks. From initial classroom based training in our ethos, systems, legal compliance and operational standards through to in store training across front and back of house operations. The Afrikana models have been developed so all that a prospective franchisee needs is a passion for hospitality and a desire to learn and grow with us.
After launch our operations team will always be on hand to advise and guide you through any challenges you may experience.
Ongoing training for all managers and staff is provided via our online training portal.
A franchisee is responsible for the day to day operations of the outlet. This covers a broad range of activities from labour and food control to service and guest experience. Recruitment and local marketing are also an important part of the role of a modern franchisee.
