Auntie Anne’s, the world’s largest soft pretzel franchise, annually roll, twist and bake over 150 million pretzels from over 1,800 stores worldwide. In the UK Auntie Anne’s now operate 34 retail bakery locations selling a range of handmade, freshly baked sweet and savoury pretzels and various drinks including our famous old-fashioned lemonade. Our pretzels come in all sorts of delicious flavours including Cinnamon, Vanilla, Salted, Pepperoni as well as Pretzel Dogs, Cheese Stuffed Pretzel Nuggets and many more fantastic products.
Franchising in the UK since 2008, Auntie Anne’s operate 34 stores across the country including Glasgow, Belfast and London. One of these is company-owned with the remainder franchised – several of these franchisees operate multiple locations.
Owned worldwide by multi-brand food business Focus Brands, Auntie Anne’s are on a path of expansion in the UK and worldwide. We anticipate 10 openings over the next 12 months from existing franchisee growth and new franchisees coming on board.
Our training course teaches new franchisees how to successfully operate and grow their business. The course has two components: business training and in-store (or hands-on) training.
Business training consists of 3 days of instruction provided by our experienced head office training team.
The in-store training consists of hands-on training in our Auntie Anne’s training centre. It teaches the new franchisee all the hands-on skills necessary to operate an Auntie Anne’s store.
Following this, our training and operations team support you and your staff at your store opening, following up with you in your store when needed.
The role requires a hands on approach managing a busy retail store with variable opening hours as well as managing a small team of full-time (up to 4) and part-time (up to 6) staff. This is an owner/operator franchise making and baking fresh pretzels during the day and looking after the general store administration including stock management at all times.
