In 1995, Daniel Moquet created his first agency in France. In 2003, He launched a second pilot branch 60kms away from his own branch. Encouraged by the success of this second one, Daniel Moquet decided in 2004 to develop his franchise network. In 2005, the 1st franchise opened in Brittany, France. In 2009, the fiftieth franchise opened in Normandy and a call centre was created. Today with more than 230 companies in France, Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom, Daniel Moquet is the leader in its industry.

The business model has proven very successful in France and Belgium and with few adaptations we are convince that we will succeed in the UK.
Have you had to consider adapting the model of your product at all to tailor it to the UK?
Our product range is very similar to the one we have in continental Europe. However, some adaptations are being made to adapt to trends in the UK market.
What are the future plans for the business, both UK & Internationally?
We are currently working on simultaneous expansion in Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Switzerland.
Our short-term objective is to recruit apprentices and Branch Managers for our pilot units.
By 2025, we aim to have 25 franchises in the UK.
Joining the bfa is the perfect opportunity to be a member of a network of Franchisors, promote our brand and get the bfa accreditation. Next step is to show the viability of our business with the success of our pilots.
