Company Overview

A revolution in storage

easyStorage is fast becoming the ‘go to’ storage company in the UK. It has 2 key advantages over traditional self-storage, it’s more convenient and it costs less too. Unlike self-storage competitors, easyStorage collects furniture and belongings from customers, carefully loading into storage pods (easyPods) which are carried on tailor-built vans.

easyPods are then taken back to easyStorage warehouses, unloaded and stacked 3, 4 or 5 high resulting in incredible space efficiency. This efficiency enables easyStorage to make their prices as much as 50% lower than  self storage competitors. Customers are delighted with the convenience, and they love the low prices even more!

Franchise Overview

A franchise territory consists of at least 600,000 dwellings which provides a generous market opportunity. This is a management Franchise that involves running a crew and ensuring customer’s receive a great service. The easyStorage franchise network is proud of their ‘Excellent’ rating on Trustpilot. No previous storage or commercial vehicle experience is required as full training is provided.

Being part of the iconic ‘easy’ family of brands

The bright orange ‘easy’ brand, first made famous by Sir Stelios with easyJet, is instantly recognisable and associated with excellent value. This gives easyStorage Franchisees a big advantage as they launch and look to build success. The franchise network is now 22-strong and growing. The business has been resilient through Covid, setting new sales records right through 2021.

Storage is a great sector to invest in

Storage is a growing sector with enormous potential. A Cushman and Wakefield report has predicted the global self-storage market will rise from £27 billion in 2018 to £35.5 billion in 2024. The UK is the best performing market in Europe and the lower pricing offered by easyStorage has opened it up further. easyStorage is the only ‘mobile storage’ franchise in the UK, and provides investors with a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing market.

Digital expertise and sales
Digital marketing is managed centrally by an in-house team of leaders in the field.

Constant data analysis and powerful partnership programmes generate customer leads, and a well trained call centre converts. This comprehensive central sales support leaves franchisees free to focus on their business.

State of the art Technology

easyStorage has developed VAULT, a bespoke platform for managing collections, deliveries and storage. Payments are collected automatically each month. As the number of easyPods in storage builds, the recurring revenue builds, a fantastic reward.

Training

Comprehensive training is provided at the easyStorage Academy and covers all aspects of the business. Franchisees are taken out on jobs by experienced members of the team to learn the ropes and get some customer-facing experience.

Daily Life of a franchisee

easyStorage franchisees come from all types of backgrounds. They include business minded individuals, father and son teams, and husband and wife collaborations. A typical day starts with the crew preparing for a collection. The van is checked over, empty easyPods loaded and then its off to the first customer’s home.

As soon as the crew arrive, they take care to protect a customers home with door covers and special covers on the floor. Items are carefully loaded straight in to the easyPods on the van. Then the van heads back to the storage warehouse where the easyPod is moved into storage. All this is recorded on a tablet which updates VAULT. Then it is on to the next collection or perhaps a return of easyPods to a customer.

Resales

easyStorage has successfully built up a sizeable number of easyPods which have been generating attractive levels of recurring revenue and profitability. The business is now available for resale, contact easyStorage for more information.
