It is not necessary to have previous experience in the beauty industry, as our comprehensive training and support will teach you what you need to know to run a thriving business.
Guinot’s comprehensive and ongoing training provides franchisees with the essential skills to build and run a successful salon.
Induction – one week’s training at HQ, including day-to-day salon operations, brand knowledge, marketing, salon software, and two days shadowing at the company-owned reference salon
Launch – on-site guidance including merchandising, best practices & retailing
Continual – coaching from head office and a dedicated regional trainer, 6-weekly marketing tutorials, refresher seminars and interactive e-training app
A varied and busy day is what can be expected when managing a Guinot franchise. Team meetings, stock control, welcoming clients, hosting events and networking are intrinsic parts of running the business, as well as the important task of marketing. With guidance from Guinot, the franchisees implement a comprehensive marketing calendar that is renewed every six weeks, along with bespoke initiatives that salons can run at the best time to suit their business.
Karen Hargreaves started her working career in the beauty industry however, in her 20s decided to explore the world of Marketing. She spent 22 years living abroad, 14 of which she headed the Marketing and Communications team for MasterCard Worldwide. Eventually life events brought her back to the UK where she went back to her original roots in the beauty industry.
Karen was the first direct conversion from a Guinot stockist to a Guinot franchise. She previously ran the well-established beauty salon, Beauty By Barnett in the same building where Guinot Bramhall now stands but she had aspirations of modernising her beauty salon and wanted to take the business to the next level profitability wise. Karen believed the Guinot Franchise opportunity was the perfect next step in her career and would enable her to reach new heights with her business as she had the support needed from the Guinot team.

Justyna is a highly qualified Beauty Therapist with over 10 years’ experience working within the beauty industry. Her advanced skincare knowledge & attention to detail derives from many years working in high-performing salons along with a passion for making people feel good in themselves.
Justyna first trained with Guinot in 2006 and worked in various salons across London before becoming the manager of Guinot’s flagship salon on Albemarle Street, Mayfair. At Albemarle she treated a portfolio of high profile clients, celebrities and journalists and always prided herself on delivering the highest service standard, ensuring each experience was bespoke and tailored to that individual’s needs and beauty objectives.
In 2015 Justyna decided she wanted to own her own high street salon and this became a viable option for her with The Guinot Franchise opportunity. “It has always been an ambition of mine to run my own salon, but it was a daunting prospect to go it alone and make a name for myself. It was because of this that I was attracted to the idea of becoming a franchisee, as I will be part of an established network that receives ongoing support and advice from a dedicated franchise team. Guinot have helped me commercially with sales techniques, marketing tools and dynamic training to help drive profit and I can proudly say my business is successfully growing.”
Narinder Joshi is a successful entrepreneur who was looking for a strong investment and a new exciting business venture. With a background in property and an acquired building in Windsor already, he was looking for the right opportunity to get the most out of this prime positioned property.
