For more than 30 years, the founders of The Learning Experience, the Weissman family, have been positively impacting the lives of children by developing and implementing ground-breaking care and early education programmes throughout the United States. And now this has led to the expansion of the brand into the United Kingdom as it’s first international destination.

Franchise Overview

At The Learning Experience, we develop state of the art facilities that offer small age-specific classrooms with appropriate resources. We also develop an in-house curriculum for each age, which changes every month, with themes, activities and materials provided for teachers. Additional programmes such as coding, yoga, foreign languages and sign language are also included.

We are known for innovation and moving quickly – during the first lockdown, we developed and launched ‘TLE at Home’ within a fortnight, which ultimately led to hundreds of age-specific class videos and materials being made available for parents to use at home.

We develop our own in-house systems for parent apps and digital classroom lessons on interactive screens, and we even have our own YouTube channel, ‘Bubbles & Friends’, featuring our main character, Bubbles the Elephant.

Training

Our unique industry model aims to make getting new franchisees open in their nursery as simple as possible. Our team goes out and works directly with developers and suppliers, equips and sets up the centre, and provides world-class training and support to run the centre effectively. This training process begins with an in-depth 10-day initial training where new franchisees cover:

  • education on the value of The Learning Experience brand
  • strategy on staffing and building a dynamic team
  • development and execution of an effective marketing plan
  • immersion into our proprietary curriculum and how to implement it successfully
  • an overview of the latest technology to effectively run your state-of-the-art centre
  • business intelligence tools, and conduct support around financial planning and P&L management

Additionally, franchisees have ongoing access to a highly trained operations support team that will help them stay on course to operate centres successfully.

Daily Life of a franchisee

Education experience isn’t necessary to succeed as a TLE franchisee as full training and support is given.  Many of our franchisees hire a Centre Director and take on the Business Manager role within the centre until they expand.  Daily interaction with the children, their families, the centre staff, and the community gives an amazing view of the impact that your business is having.  You can directly see and ensure that Happy Happens Here!
