Company Overview

The Party Box is home to a party shop and balloon specialist.
Catering for every occasion, from birthdays, weddings to planning, design and set up of corporate events.

We design and create balloon displays and personalised balloons for any kind of occasion. We supply balloons of every description, personalised, children’s themes and so much more. We offer all party ware, table covers, banners, badges, candles … the list is endless.

Customers can buy by coming into the shop or by visiting the website. They will find a huge variety of items and options, as well as having the option for bespoke items.

We give a personal touch to make every one of our customer’s parties, weddings, or events unique to them as well working for corporate organisations and outside events.
We are a party shop with a difference and if our customers have a vision for their party or wedding, we will bring it to life!

 

The business was started in 2013 and moved to Bishops Tortford in 2018 where it has grown from strength to strength. Following the global pandemic, people are taking celebrations to the next level! Bubble and confetti balloons are massively popular, as are the bigger balloon arches and walls. We believe that the general public still crave that personal, local, quality service.

Training

We have structured a comprehensive initial 5-day training and set up programme, covering all aspects of the business. It is designed to give you a thorough and comprehensive guide to the running of your new business.
Running the Business: 2 days
Covering: Learning all about the The Party Box- the background, the now, the future. What you need to know about becming a franchisee business owner-how to be succesful. Franchisee/franchisor responsibilities
Marketing: The market/opportunity / target audience. Local and online marketing. Developing an actionable marketing plan. Importance of reviews.
Finances: Managing and reporting income and expenses.
Running the Shop: 3 days (minimum).
Covering: Sales and customer service. Operations. Managing People. Seeing a real-life operation live!

Daily Life of a franchisee

Your day starts in opening your shop, preparing your customer orders.
Throughout the day meeting lots of customers, making up new orders.
Going out on deliveries and sometimes will be setting up some of the corporate/weddings etc events.
Most customers are orgnising celebrations, whether its for a birthday, weddings, baby shower the list is endless but it is a happy, fun enviroment and full of putting your own designs and flare into the business.
