Our franchise systems, otherwise known as our Partner Programme, are set up all over the world. We use the skills we’ve learnt over the last 30 years to give our Partners (franchisees) the best chance to shine. 80% of our global retail estate has seen investment and in August 2017 Vodafone UK took the same step, bringing entrepreneurs the opportunity to build a successful business with the backing of our global brand.
Our Partner Programme offers local entrepreneurs the chance to be their own boss of up to three Vodafone-branded stores. They receive a fully fitted store offering the latest smartphones, connected devices for the home and the UK’s fastest growing home broadband service – all backed by our new Unlimited plans and high-speed mobile and fixed fibre network. Since launching we have grown rapidly – in 2019 alone we celebrated the opening of our 100th, 150th and 200th franchised stores and we have more on the way. For us, this is just the start: we are wholly committed to our vision of an exciting future and to working with our Partners to deliver fantastic services and innovative products to our customers.
We want to make sure that we’re absolutely right for each other, so before you sign the dotted line you’ll attend a Discovery Day, two interviews and a Franchise Finance workshop.

You’ll also spend one month shadowing a fellow Partner or Store Manager, providing you with the best training possible to hit the ground running once you own your own store. Your regional and divisional managers, the HQ team, and the national franchise managers are there to provide support and guidance throughout your time with Vodafone.
Once you’re fully trained and ready, we provide a fully kitted out, newly refurbished store including all fixtures, fittings, furniture and marketing POS.

“The biggest challenge I’ve faced is the clear decline of footfall in a lot of shopping areas, so one of the changes I’ve brought into my way of working is focusing on how I can make bring the town to life and combat the negative perception people have of the town centre… I am now a stakeholder and part of the ‘Town Team’ working with other retailers and the local council to help with the success and rebranding of the high street to give people an amazing experience and reason to come into the town. This is a great opportunity for me to really have an input in how the structure of the town will look in the future, and direct the town towards a more thriving and successful high street where people love to visit.”
