Back Nine, a 24/7 premium indoor golf experience that focusses on the golfer, was founded in late 2021 in the USA. It sold it’s first franchise in 2023 and fast forward to the middle of 2026 they have sold over 550 franchises. In late 2025 the Back Nine expanded internationally to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
Back Nine helps all golfers improve their game without the distraction of most typical indoor golf scenes that are more focussed on a social experience which includes food and beverage. Golfers get to use world class simulators and they have access to all of the technology and data whilst practicing or playing the world famous golf courses virtually. Back nine facilities are powered by Full Swing simulators; the chosen tech of Tiger Woods and used in the TGL. Our facilities are designed for golfers of all levels to practice, play, and elevate their game.

In the UK the Back Nine have their vendor partners in place and have began to recruit franchisees who want a business with a lean staffing model where they can use elite golf pro brands such as Tiger Woods.
We bring golf to the public in with 24/7 access at environments that are welcoming for everyone. In our facilities there will be memberships as well as pay as you play options. Golf-pro lessons will be available along with kids lessons in holiday periods.

The future of golf will come through indoor facilities and as predicted by the R&A and the BBC sport, indoor golf will continue to grow over the coming years with more rounds of golf being played indoors, than outdoors. This is a great business to get involved with.
All franchisees will have on-boarding support from within 24 hours of signing the franchise agreement. This support will include both our head office team and our introductions to all of our vendor partners.
Our vendor partners will be there to do everything from helping you find the right facility, negotiate the rent and complete the legal sides to securing your property. Our vendor partners for the contractors will do all of the initial drawings, floor plans and show you the mood board options of the design and finish to your facility. Our vendor partners can do all of the contractual work to fit our your facility and get it ready for opening.
On top of this, each franchisee will have an on-boarding manager from our head office who will train you in every aspect of the business. This training will take place one to one, either at your facility or at our head office building. In addition to this, there will be video calls from your on-boarding support and you will have access to our online training library, all implemented to help you learn more about our systems and software.

Our training program has been generated so we can hold your hand and be there for you whether you’re in the “planning to open your doors” to the public phase or you have been open for months.
You will become confident with our back end portal and you will learn how to use the Back Nine app. We will show you how to use our marketing templates on Canva and how to manage your sales pipeline on our CRM software as you bring members on board.
At the Back Nine you can either keep your day job and run your facility on a semi-passive ownership style, or you can become full time in the business.
SEMI-PASSIVE
If you want to come into the Back Nine on a semi-passive style of ownership, you would be expected to give up to 10 hours per week to the business. Most of this time would be spent setting up your members, with their pricing, on our portal or meeting with members / potential members at your facility. Any work done on our portal can be done from your laptop. The rest of your time would be at your facility making sure the furniture is arranged, bins emptied and generally tidy.

FULL-TIME
The majority of our franchisees will either quickly transition from a semi-passive style of ownership to being full time in their business as they embrace the additional income streams they benefit from. A typical full time day in your business can include building relationships with your members at your facility, setting up memberships on our portal, attending local networking events, building relationships at local golf courses and sponsoring events. Many franchisees will use our templates to develop their marketing strategy, whether on social media or within their community. The additional income streams you can spend time on include golf-pro lessons, gift cards, kids holiday lessons/activities, setting up tournaments and leagues.
