Boots Opticians, are a nationwide supplier of value frames and contact lenses with 162 franchised stores across its wider 540 opticians’ estate and have expansion plans for the coming years with both new and existing franchisees.
Boots Opticians have been franchising for several years and showcase their commitment to ethical franchising by being an established member of the BFA. To become a BFA member you need to go through an accreditation process to ensure you meet the standards and ethics set by the association.

As part of our franchise estate, you will be partnered with a Business Development Manager (BDM) whose main priority is supporting you in growing your business and achieving your goals. Your BDM will carry out an in person, in-depth induction into the business and ensure you are familiar with our core applications and processes, setting you up for success perfectly.
As a franchise partner and as part of your induction you will be introduced to the dedicated team at your disposal to help and support you through your entire journey including:

• Franchise Partner Accounts
• Property Teams
You will have full access to our Boots Learning Academy containing several modules designed to develop your business skills as well as ensuring you and your colleagues are fully trained in all health and safety protocols.
We also offer colleagues the chance to attend ‘Be at your BEST’ sales training which focuses on improving customer service through psychological models that will in turn support future growth of your business. This consists of several online modules to be completed in advance of an online session led by a member of our learning and development team. As well as BEST Leadership programme which focusses on leadership skills.
Should you choose to develop either yourself, team members or even support a Pre-Reg Optometrist in furthering their career, our learning and development team are at hand to support with both Student Dispensing Optician and Pre-registration Optometrist programmes.
We also look to support any of our partners whose ambition is to expand their business and run a multi-site operation. We currently support a number of partners running successful opticians hubs. We ensure our partners are kept fully informed of any opportunities that may present themselves in order to support those who wish to progress further.

You will be resposible for all areas of running your own store(s). From recruitment, customer care, store standards, compliance and performance delivery. However you will do this in the knowledge that you have a global leader in healthcare standing shoulder to shoulder with you to ensure you fully maximise the opportunity of owning your own business.
It is important for us that you are involved and visible in the day to day running of your store.
