Without the need for being plugged into any utilities during its operation, the Coffee-Bike can reach unconventional places, offering a wide selection of products. The bike is a combination of nostalgic design providing high-quality, organically certified coffee specialities. Due to our investment in the development of the Coffee-Bike, it stands out and is often booked for professional coffee catering services at private and business events.
Since we started franchising in 2011, Coffee-Bike now operates over 250 self-sufficient mobile coffee shops across 18 countries worldwide (e.g. United Kingdom, Germany, India, Turkey etc.)
During the 4-year franchise term, franchisees become their own business owners with either a rented or purchased Coffee-Bike. They do not have to meet set sales targets or stick to strict opening hours – providing flexibility and entrepreneurial freedom. The service fee, also unique and flexible, is only collected through actual cups of coffee sold. This means that if you sell tea, hot chocolate, water, orange juice, snacks etc… we do not charge a single penny, which differs to other franchisors!
Once you join our Coffee-Bike family the training starts with a home-based interactive online course. You will gain the basic know-how regarding the operation of the Coffee-Bike, the technical background as well as guidance on how to set up your business.
Once completed, you will then attend our head office in White City, London, for our extensive barista training. This training includes guidance of technical barista skills as well as a face-to-face guidance regarding the critical factors to be successful with the Coffee-Bike (e.g., marketing, acquisition, business development).
Being a Coffee-Bike Franchisee provides a mix of being out on the road with your own bike, making calls to acquire catering orders, and managing the growth of your own business with our support & guidance. Added to that you will also manage you stock and ordering levels and where appropriate people.
This means that the Franchisee is not a barista 24/7, but also responsible to develop entrepreneurial skills to become a successful Coffee-Biker and a multi-bike operation.
