In 2020 Pistachio Holdings acquired a majority stake in the business, to support in taking it to the next level, driving its ambitions for international and further UK expansion. The brand employs more than 900 and works with a variety of franchise partners across the UK, empowering them to provide a high quality, distinctive customer proposition in an exciting and fast-growing market.
Creams have been recognised as one of the top ten most loved Eating Out brands in the UK in 2019 and 2020 by Savanta Research.
Customers can enjoy a wide range of freshly prepared desserts ranging from waffles and crêpes to puddings and sundaes, a brand-new doughnut range, and savoury popcorn chicken waffle bites – a UK first. All desserts, many of which can be made vegan, feature Creams’ own gelato which is produced daily in East London. In 2020, Creams served more than 5 million customers, dishing out over 50 million scoops of gelato and 8.6 million milkshakes.
Creams provide the franchisee and their manager an intensive two weeks Training Plan at a Creams Academy, Training Excellence Centre to immerse the franchisee into the operation and provides a foundation for the franchisee to build on.
Creams has developed a comprehensive eLearning platform for every level of the operation to ensure every member of the team are trained and have the skills & knowledge to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and brands standards.
