DA Techs are an Alloy Wheel Refurbishment specialist, that specialise in the refurbishment of diamond cut alloy wheels with a specialist mobile CNC lathe in the back of a fully equipped, specially designed workshop van.
We were the first to market with their groundbreaking idea in 2016, building a lathe into a van, creating the first ever Mobile Diamond Cut Alloy Wheel Repair service. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving business that has repaired over a quarter of a million wheels from their sites and from their fleet of repair vans across the north west.
We service motor traders, Insurance providers, de-fleet centres and retail customers with high quality mobile diamond cut alloy wheel repairs. Our reputation for reliability and quality is made easier by using the best quality equipment, processes and consumables on the market and doing things right.
Since 2018 we have been working with franchise expert Jane Coleman as part of our board. Jane launched and grew the UK’s Franchise model for Starbucks and latterly Pret-a-Manger and together our team have developed the DA Tech franchise: an extremely lucrative management business model offering healthy margins with market demand growing faster than we can satisfy.
Our objective is to deliver a truly national mobile alloy wheel repair service, with quality, reliability and consistency at its core, with like-minded, driven and determined Franchisees taking on multi van territories.

Well trained Franchisees and well trained Technicians are vital to the success of your business.
We start with you: the franchisee as an individual. We work together from your business plans to tailor a training program to suit your needs and skill set.
A DA Techs technician is a skilled role and we can train you to become the first technician or we can support the recruitment of the right technician with the right attitude and skillset to develop into a competent, experienced technician.
We can provide real world training in our workshop and on our own fleet of vans, from our own master technicians in the north west, where trainees can experience the job being done in real time.
We have training plans, standard operating procedures recording how every element of the job should be done, competency sheets to record the technicians progress and risk assessments aligned with this.
We are then at the end of a phone with our dedicated technical support for you and your technicians as they gain experience and expertise.
As you grow your business with further vans and technicians, we continue to offer comprehensive, tailored support to the recruitment and training process.
Training isn’t just how to operate the equipment and produce wheels, it is much wider than that. We will personalise our support for you as an individual, around the sales process, managing your finances, managing your team, managing your customers – in fact every element of what we do in running a successful mobile alloy wheel business will be available to our franchisees.
Over time we will help you shape your business so that you have the knowledge to recruit and train your own technicians with your own master technicians and we will help you shape your business for efficiency and ongoing success.

It sounds like a cliché that no two days are the same, but life running a DA techs franchise will be varied and rewarding.
Like most businesses it will require lots of hard work to build your business at the beginning, but as you build up your portfolio of regular customers and relationships it is extremely rewarding adding to technicians to your team and vans to your fleet and seeing the financial rewards that brings.
Running a busy DA Techs franchise successfully will mean that you are in regular contact with your repeat customers, have strong relationships with them and understand what is going on in their markets. You will schedule your one off customers around a strong, balanced customer base.
Similarly a successful franchise will involve well managed technicians and eventually when your scale permits, a management/supervision structure. Communicating and being present and engaged with your team will pay dividends, in the same way it will with your customers.
A typical day may involve ensuring customers are organised for future bookings, invoicing, problem solving, business development, some strategic planning for the future, debt chasing, reviewing your finances.
