With 45 years of industry experience and 150 franchisees worldwide we teach 100k children each week!

EMPOWER THROUGH DRAMA
The hour-long lessons are designed to be exciting and fun-packed, providing a platform for students to develop:

* Essential social interaction,
* Communication skills,
* And creative expression.
* Whether it’s through physical movements or vocal delivery, we empower students to express themselves confidently. Our programme is designed to ignite imagination, encourage teamwork, and foster lasting friendships.

CONFIDENCE
Our drama classes provide a haven where children can embrace challenges, make mistakes, and grow from them. This journey nurtures their self-confidence and self-esteem, paving the way for enhanced self-assurance in all aspects of life.

COMMUNICATION
In Drama Kids, we empower children to express themselves with clarity and precision. They master the art of active listening, effective responses, and the nuances of body language and tone. Collaboration is key, teaching them teamwork, compromise, and unwavering support for one another.

CREATIVITY
Drama classes are a playground for imagination, encouraging kids to think beyond boundaries. They discover the thrill of crafting characters, weaving captivating narratives, and using props and costumes to breathe life into their ideas.

Building long-term bonds with them and their families. Our inspiring curriculum still excites me after 16 years of teaching. Support from the Head Office team is outstanding: ongoing training in running a business, alongside building and teaching successful classes. What will I do as a Franchisee

Over the course of a day, a Drama Kids franchisee will engage in a wide variety of activities.

Administration: Alongside usual administration activities, such as paying and issuing invoices, daily updating of student data and payments into the SMS system ensures good organisation and smooth overall operation of the business.

Customer service: Customer enquiries come through various forms, including emails, phone calls and social media messages. Responding to prospective customers as a quickly is a good way of maintaining a competitive edge, and the provision of training and materials to deliver excellent customer service and a clear call to action by Head Office ensures franchisees can respond to customers efficiently and effectively. Alongside engagement with new customers, franchisees continuously engage with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer retention.

Community and marketing: Connecting with local schools is an important way of building brand awareness and franchisees frequently receive requests for workshops or after-school clubs. Principals also liaise with community contacts and explore new opportunities for marketing and promotional activities, to raise brand awareness and promote classes in the local area. Maintaining a healthy marketing mix and ensuring daily updates on Social Media accounts is a daily task, and at the beginning of a new term the emphasis on marketing and promotional activities will always be highest.

Colleague support: Being self-employed can sometimes be lonely, so connecting with fellow franchisees on a regular basis about teaching tips or marketing ideas is a great way to boost morale and enhance happiness in the workplace.

Lesson planning and teaching: For many franchisees, the most important (and fun!) part of the day is planning for their evening class. Although all curriculum materials are provided, the planning and delivery of lessons provides a wonderful opportunity for franchisees to step away from the computer and creatively engage their students.

Staff support and management: For franchisees with a larger business, it is necessary to take on teachers. Managing staff and developing leadership skills is a hugely rewarding part of being a franchisee, requiring regular engagement to ensure teachers are trained, motivated and supported to deliver the best quality lessons to students.

Safeguarding responsibilities: The most important part of being a Drama Kids franchisee is the responsibility to safeguard all students, starting with the safe recruitment and training of staff working at the Academy. The provision of safeguarding policies and procedures, extensive training and 24/7 access to a safeguarding expert ensures Drama Kids franchisees are supported to provide excellent safeguarding standards in their business.

Business planning and additional activities: Franchisees continuously explore new and exciting ways to develop and expand their business, which Head Office support through the provision of business planning assets and materials for activities such as holiday clubs.

Personal and CPD: Many franchisees have other interests, jobs and family commitments, which they successfully manage alongside the running of their business. A big benefit of being self employed is you are your own boss and manage your own timetable.
