Little Kickers classes introduce young children (18 months to 7 years) to football in a fun environment. Developed by FA-qualified coaches and nursery schoolteachers (with feedback from a group of demanding parents!), rather than focusing purely on football, the programme incorporates early learning goals; valuable concepts such as sharing, teamwork and listening to instructions are introduced in a fun environment. Classes also enable children to develop agility, co-ordination and balance whilst providing them with a positive introduction to sport.
Established in the UK in 2002, in response to a lack of quality sports coaching for pre-schoolers, Little Kickers has grown through franchising, now operating across 5 continents. With firm emphasis on teamwork amongst our franchisees, and sustained investment, we have built a strong operational infrastructure enabling franchisees to provide 1500+ weekly premium football skill classes to 20,000+ children. Our experienced head office team recognise ongoing success requires continuous support, and are always available to provide advice and encouragement to franchisees.
Three days desk-based training at Little Kickers’ offices covering financial management, insurance, finding and training coaches, data protection, health and safety, child protection etc. Telephone training and support is provided on our IT systems. Support is ongoing, with additional training provided where necessary.
Practical training is delivered in the form of a one-day masterclass, with ongoing support from our director of coaching and his assistant; training videos are also provided.
The general administration of the franchise may be done from home and will include marketing, advertising, handling customer enquiries, enrolling/re-enrolling children and maintaining an up-to-date database using the Little Kickers business system, plus all the other tasks associated with running a business (H&S, finance, recruitment etc.).
Franchisees will be managing their classes and coaches, attending and delivering the activity sessions, maintaining excellent standards, and interacting with the children and parents.
