Little Movers was founded in 2007 by Melanie Buck. After having children Melanie wanted to continue to teach dance part time, she was commissioned to create and deliver a new exciting programme to engage both parents and preschool children in a fun, healthy dance activity and so began Little Movers.
Melanie’s core value of ‘Every Child Matters’ is instilled in every Littkle Movers team member, we see no barriers! Everyone can move and everyone is welcome at Little Movers.
The brand grew quickly, new classes were set up, staff were employed and Little Movers quickly became Melanie’s full time job. Melanie enjoyed the flexibility Little Movers gave her, it enabled her to run a family friendly business where she could put her own family first.
In 2017 Little Movers was franchised and is now a Multi Award Winning National Brand with franchises across the UK.
When you join Little Movers as a franchisee you are your own boss and you dictate when your classes take place – leaving you with the time to do those essential tasks such as the school run! Training
Two days practical training at the Little Movers Head Office which will include delivering a Little Movers class alongside our Head Office Team with a group of Little Movers families. Training videos are also provided.
One day of business training which can be delivered face to face or via zoom covering marketing, brand protection, safeguarding, business planning, finding venues, building a class timetable etc.

All administartion tasks can be carried out at home when you choose to work, this can fit in with your own family. Admin will include marketing, answering customer queries, class bookings, planning, support your own team, risk assesments plus all other business related tasks.
The most rewarding and fun part of running a Little Movers franchise wil be the delivery of your classes, the classes are full of fun and action packed. You will deliver classes to meet our high standards ensuring that every Little Mover leaves feeling valued.
