The nicenstripy core business is cutting grass. We service both the commercial and domestic markets and include full maintenance as part of our work. General grounds maintenance, which includes hedge cutting, leaf clearance, full garden tidy-up, gutter cleaning, fence installation, all aspects of lawn care and the list goes on. We also cover all aspects of hard landscaping as well as tree surgery. Our services ensure a regular and very rewarding continuous income throughout the year.
Trading since 1996 nicenstripy launched its first franchisees in 2001, following its successful pilot operation during 2000. Growth in the franchise family has been very slow to ensure each and every franchisee has been successful.
There are regular meetings with all franchisees throughout the year, where new equipment reports are provided, the results of the most recent marketing and promotional campaigns are discussed and general updates given. On occasions these meetings will focus on training in a specific area of our business. There are also open communication lines where all franchisees are encouraged to meet and speak with each other at other times.
Each year a National Conference is held and suppliers are invited to show their latest equipment and often provide franchisees with a ‘special’ nicenstripy price for orders placed at the show. Central purchasing ensures franchisees buy equipment and products cheaper than competitors and the central call office provides telephone coverage 7 days a week with messages forwarded to franchisees within an average of 32 seconds of the call being made.
The nicenstripy website provides new business leads to all franchisees and niceneasy office assists in turning the lead into a new customer and helps in scheduling the work.
nicenstripy is owned and run by franchisees for the total benefit of all franchisees.
Most new franchisees successfully complete their training in two/three weeks.
The first week of the induction course is in the classroom and focuses on how to run a nicenstripy business. It includes all administration aspects, accounting and cash-flow, using the niceneasy office, territory planning, marketing, etc.
The rest of the course is purely practical, learning how to use equipment and gaining industry recognised qualifications. You will be allowed to commence your business when both you and we are confident that you have enough knowledge to do so.
The training program is followed by a 90-day mentoring program, where you are mentored on a daily basis for the first 30 days, a minimum of three times per week for the next 30 days and weekly for the last 30 days or as long as a new franchisee requires it. Our goal is to ensure your success.
Further ongoing training takes place throughout each year to maximise your potential and ensure you comply with all the rules and regulations as they change.
Schedules of works will be varied and consists of all aspects within the nicenstripy regime. Daily tasks will consist of quoting, grass cutting and general maintenance. Sites will be varied from a new housing estate to the local manor house.
Customer liaison is of paramount importance. Focus will be to build and develop your regular customer base, with the aid of your marketing plan.
