I’m Tash, Rubba-Bubba’s Director and Founder. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved caring for and working with babies and children.
From babysitting and childminding, through to qualifying as a Paediatric Nurse 12 years ago, and currently a Health Visitor. Babies and families have been and always will be my passion.
I started Rubba–Bubba Baby Massage in 2013, the same year I had my first baby. I am now a mama to two adorable (ish) children, wife to Craig and have been a children’s nurse for 12 years. After a long career on the ward, I have now retrained as a Health Visitor and still practise today.
We run baby-preschool massage, baby-preschool yoga- and sensory classes and our mission is to provide small, safe and personal classes for parents and their little ones to share the most precious time. Rubba-Bubba classes are fun, magical and super beneficial.
With baby/child development and emotional well-being at the centre of our classes, Rubba-Bubba aims to enhance movement, social interactions, confidence, emotional regulation, speech and language and much more. Songs, rhymes, stories and sensory/messy play complement our classes to make the sessions exciting, safe and easy to follow.
Make magical memories!
No two days are the same in Rubba-Bubba.
Within our stage 1 baby massage/yoga classes (0-4m) we specialise in running small friendly classes (max 12 babies) where the instructors demonstrate the nurturing baby massage or yoga stretches on a doll for the parents to easily follow. We finish with refreshments and a chat. Within our stage 2 classes (4m-crawling) the baby massage strokes/yoga stretches are specially adapted for the busier, rolling, sitting up (or nearly) inquisitive and nearly mobile baby.
We sing songs, play with lots of sensory toys, bubbles etc for a very interactive and fun class. Our sensory and messy play sessions are all babies and toddler living their best life knee-deep in sand, rice, bubbles and coco pops!
You can also run 1st year birthday parties and seasonal parties (Christmas, easter summer and Halloween.) Teach nurseries and schools, one to ones and online classes.
Not only would you manage and run the classes and parties, but you would also set aside some admin time for things like the booking system, social media, ordering merchandise and sourcing venues.
Due to the generous territory, you have scope to take on teachers to run more classes for you (after your first year in business-full support and training given).
Once a month all the franchisees and I get together online for a mastermind-this includes topics that will help you run your business and classes. This is a great chase to speak to the other franchisees, swap ideas, support, rant and laugh together. The best thing is no one is in competition we all help each other! We are such a family.
