Super Star Sport began with a simple idea, to get more children active, healthy, and smiling through sport. We saw first-hand how powerful sport can be in shaping confidence, building friendships, and creating memories that stay with children for life. That belief still drives everything we do today.
What started as one coaching team working with local nurseries and primary schools has grown into a national network.
Through franchising, we’ve been able to share our model with passionate people across the UK who want to make a real difference in their own communities. We now have over 25 branches delivering high-quality PE lessons, PPA cover, holiday camps and parent-paid classes every week.

Our growth has never been about chasing numbers, it’s about making a positive impact. Every franchise is run by someone who shares our values of fun, positivity, enthusiasm and safety. These aren’t just words on a wall; they guide how we coach, how we work with schools and families, and how we support each other as a network.
We started franchising to give people with a love for sport and working with children a way to build a full-time career in the industry. Many of our franchise directors were once coaches themselves; others have come from completely different careers but wanted a role with more purpose. What unites them is the satisfaction of seeing children develop and knowing they’re making a lasting difference.
Our long-term aim is to continue growing across the UK while staying true to what’s made us successful, strong community links, quality coaching, and a shared belief in the importance of sport for every child. We want to keep attracting like-minded people who care about children’s development and want to run a business that creates something bigger than themselves.
Joining Super Star Sport isn’t just about owning a franchise; it’s about being part of a team with a clear purpose, inspiring the next generation through sport.
No two days as a Super Star Sport franchisee are ever quite the same, but that’s part of what makes the role so rewarding. You’ll balance being out in the community delivering and overseeing sessions with managing and growing your business behind the scenes.
A typical day often starts early, visiting a nursery or primary school to check in on your coaches or lead a session yourself. Mornings are usually when our youngest children are most active, so you’ll see first-hand the impact of fun, engaging sessions on their confidence and skills. This hands-on involvement helps you stay connected to what your team delivers and ensures every child has a positive experience.

Once sessions are underway, much of your role shifts to running the business. This can include following up with schools about upcoming programmes, speaking with nurseries about trial sessions, or planning your next holiday camp. You’ll regularly be meeting with decision-makers in schools, building relationships and exploring new opportunities to expand your reach.
Part of your day will be focused on your team. Recruiting, training and supporting coaches is a key part of your role, so you might spend time holding a team meeting, giving feedback from a recent observation, or planning staff rotas. Keeping your team motivated and aligned with our value, fun, positivity, enthusiasm and safety, is crucial to maintaining the quality of your sessions.
You’ll also manage the operational side of the business. This includes tasks like updating finances on Xero, checking bookings, or organising marketing for parent-paid classes and camps. Our systems and support team make this process straightforward, but it’s a core part of running your own franchise.
Evenings or late afternoons often bring community sessions or parent-paid classes. These are a great way to connect directly with families, build your reputation locally and see children enjoying sport outside of school hours.
While there is plenty of variety day-to-day, one thing stays the same: you’ll always be working towards the same goal, getting more children active, healthy and smiling. The role is fast-paced, hands-on and hugely rewarding. It suits people who love working with children, enjoy being part of their community, and have the drive to grow a business around something they’re passionate about.
