If you’re looking to invest in your future and like the idea of working for yourself but not by yourself, then a TruGreen Professional Lawn Care Franchise could well be for you.
TruGreen was brought to the UK by ServiceMaster in 2004, and in that time, has treated thousands of lawns through individually owned and operated TruGreen franchises. We provide expert lawn care services to our customers as part of a customised lawn care treatment programme.
We operate within all environmental and regulatory policies and guidelines and strive to offer the best integrated turf management system offering biological solutions wherever possible.
The TruGreen training academy is a two week long comprehensive training programme, devised to give our newest recruits the expertise and confidence to begin their new business venture.
Two weeks of intensive training are based both at our Franchise Support Centre in Leicester, and remotely. You will also be required to complete two lawn care qualifications known as PA1 and PA6.
The academy subjects include: Daily Operations, Sales & Marketing, PR, Business Planning,
Insurance, Customer Service, Lawn Care Products / Chemicals, Human Resources, Health & Safety, Brand Management System / CRM, Employment Law, Recruitment, GDPR, Data Protection and Machinery / Equipment.
Our training does not cease on completion of the academy, ongoing training is provided throughout the length of the franchise agreement. We run regular workshops, webinars and 1-2-1 training if required, either on-site or at our Franchise Support Centre. The TruGreen network of business owners are also happy to provide ad-hoc shadowing days, as they offer a real insight in to TruGreen life and give you a chance to build lasting relationships with your peers.
The truth is, we’re not looking for just anyone to represent the TruGreen brand. We’re searching for those who want to grow a substantial business through using every aspect of the guidance, support and experience which TruGreen have to offer. What you’ll need to bring to the table.
Ambition – Our focus is to maintain our standing as one of the biggest and best providers of lawn care services in the UK. As such, it is key that our franchise partners have a drive to be the biggest and best within their own territory area.
Hard Work – Dedication, perseverance and full commitment will be required to get your business off the ground. We’re with you every step of the way but there are no shortcuts to success. Put simply, you’ll get out what you put in.
Experience – Perhaps you have some experience in lawn care, previously run a business or have a great background in customer service. Running a TruGreen lawn care franchise will allow you to draw on a range of past expertise and bring value to your investment.
Adaptability – We’re constantly updating and developing our operations to better meet the needs of customers, so you’ll need to be open to exploring new and exciting opportunities to ensure that TruGreen stay ahead of the game.
