Home Instead Senior Care caps fine 12 months with annual conference

Home Instead Senior Care recently held its annual conference at the ACC, next to the Echo Arena, in Liverpool, with franchisees from across the UK taking the chance to meet up with the national support team. The company’s president and COO, Omaha-based Jeff Huber, was also in attendance.

The two-day event, with the theme of ‘It’s Time’, was attended by over 400 delegates from more than 130 franchise offices, sharing their successes over the last year and discussing new initiatives within the network.

The keynote presentation, by CEO and co-founder Trevor Brocklebank, discussed the growing market for care provided at home. Trevor reiterated the importance of leadership in everything the franchise does, and the group’s mission – ‘to become the UK’s most admired company through changing the face of ageing’.

Commenting on a strong yearly performance, he said: “Our success is a direct result of the efforts of our franchise owners and this conference celebrates what has been a tremendous 12 months for the business.”

The conference also celebrated the success of Home Instead’s franchisees at a gala awards dinner. The highlight of the evening was the award for Caregiver of the Year, which was presented to Nicola McKeever from the Wirral office. Her leadership and team were unanimously said to epitomise the ethos and qualities of the company.

Nicola and the rest of the UK team are part of a company that has grown since its creation in 1994 to a global network of over 1,000 offices in 17 countries.
