This truly is a year of transition within the HSBC franchise team with three retirements in less than six months accounting for 130 years of service with the bank and close on 40 years-experience within the franchise team.
The average age of the team continues to fall with the appointment of Innes Laing as a new Franchise Director from July 1st. Innes is not new to the franchise world, having had experience at his previous bank and then transferring his skills to become a Franchise Relationship Manager based in Scotland. His portfolio of clients was from all sectors within our world and all the feedback I have ever received has been positive. He gets franchising and more importantly he enjoys working in the sector. I always say you can’t measure enthusiasm, but with Innes it is abounding. I am excited he is transferring from the franchisee side to help manage the relationship of our franchisors in the North of England and over the border.
Basically another brilliant signing and further evidence of HSBC’s continued commitment to growth.
