Imagine spending your days working in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Lake District, the Scottish borders, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Eden Valley….
Well Colin & Margaret Brattan do just that.
Colin & Margaret purchased the Lake District territory from Bryan & Sheila Jones back in October 2020 after Colin had completed his initial training at the Card Connection HO Farnham in August.
Colin had initially seen the territory advertised on the Daltons Franchise Resale site and set about doing his homework. Colin comes from a service orientated background so knew he had the skills to provide good customer service and as he had had to travel extensively knew that covering the Lake District would not be a problem.
Colin goes onto say, “the reason I was interested in the franchise was because of the independence it offered and the ability to earn from what I put in”.
Colin hit the ground running at a time when things were very uncertain but because we service the convenience sector all things worked in his favour.
In the past year, with all the challenges that COVID has thrown his way, he has still managed to grow the area by almost 20%.
