With more than 20 years’ experience in the franchise sector, Pip has worked her way up within the Association, gaining insight from all areas of the business and the franchise industry. She is well-known and highly regarded in franchising for her dedication and depth of knowledge. Pip’s mission for the bfa is very clear: to maintain standards that strengthen; education that influences success; provide platforms to connect and support; and continual promotion to raise awareness of the industry as a whole.
Emily’s main focus is designing winning strategies and working with the bfa team to achieve amazing results for the members, the bfa business and themselves. Turning the bfa’s vision into reality is her priority and she holds a firm belief that the journey presents a fabulous opportunity to all that commit.
As Executive Assistant, Emma supports Pip with all of her daily responsibilities. Additionally acting as key liaison with the external financial function and looks after the bfa’s internal HR systems. Having worked with the bfa previously, Emma is well versed in the values and mission of the bfa.
Donna is highly experienced in the franchising sector having developed her project management experience in varied roles in central operations and service development. As Head of Projects, Donna works closely with the central operations team to ensure the smooth execution of all education and events, and supporting the business with the larger scale projects.
Jo will specifically support the Learning & Development Manager and the Learning & Events Officer. Jo will allow extra capacity for successfully delivering business objectives in education and events and across the wider business. She will also support Donna with the larger targeted projects for the business.
Larisa joins the organisation as a specialist in supporting and organising events. Having previously worked in hotel events management she is dedicated to making sure every detail is covered. Larisa is able to act responsively and make sure our members have the best possible experience with any event involvement.
Gabrielle is the bfa’s visual brand ambassador, and is responsible for all designed content across the different bfa channels. She has a creative approach towards the design process, developing concepts and themes for all events, and the continued development of the website. She brings a customer focused approach and has a background in customer service.
Andy spends most of his time knee deep in training manuals, company accounts and franchise agreements, stress testing franchise business models is what he does best. Andy has made it his mission to continue strengthening standards and compliance practices at the bfa.
James thrives on building strong relationships to ensure customers feel supported and at the heart of the bfa’s work. He brings valuable skills and over a decade of experience obtained from within the retail sector. James knows how to take an objective and build trust in teams to implement and excel. he is driven by the opportunity to do a fabulous job and add value to his customers.
After 2 years with the bfa as the Compliance Officer, Will is now focused on building relationships with customers. Bringing in knowledge from the Standards side of the bfa, he strives to ensure the members feel supported and are making the most out of their bfa Membership, while guiding those who are considering franchising to the appropriate places to expand their knowledge on the industry and considerations they need to factor in.
Jessica has a passion for digital communications. She has previously worked on fully maximising business reach and engagement through establishing new and existing digital channels. She will deliver the bfa digital communications strategy, developing and managing digital and social media channels, driving awareness and engagement.
