About bake&TAKE

bake&TAKE

Company Overview

bake&TAKE is a fully self-service bakery and coffee shop selling high quality baked goods and products. Our franchise exists to fulfil a gap in the market and provide our customers with high quality, freshly prepared range of up to 250 different products.

The concept originated in Germany as backWERK. The first shop opened in 2001 and they now have 360+ stores across Germany, Netherlands, and Switzerland. A pilot operation has been running successfully in Manchester for two years and franchisees are confirming sites around the UK.

Franchise Overview

Created by backWERK in Germany in 2001, the company started off with a single store and went on to become Europe’s number one self service bakery with more than 360 stores, winning Franchisor of the Year in 2011 (Germany) and 2013 (Austria).

Bake&TAKE offer a huge pan European product list, self-service, sit in and takeaway, modern comfortable surroundings and free WiFi. Your customers will visit time and time again to enjoy familiar favourites or to try something fresh, exciting, affordable and new.

Daily Life of a Franchisee

For the first couple of years at least, franchisees will be on-site running their store for the majority of the time, in addition to securing local partnerships and corporate clients.
