About Dogknows Limited

DKCompany Overview

Every dog owner knows that a dog’s favourite activity is that all-important dog walk. The joy of exercise, the new smells, the freedom to explore and mark out new territory brings out the best in almost all dogs.

At Dogknows we are inspired by these walks, indeed it is at the heart of what we do. Our experienced, highly-trained team can nurture dogs from puppyhood, offering social and lifelong learning via our dog care and training services that are tailored specially for each dog.

Franchise Overview

Dogknows is in the early years of franchising with two successful franchise operations thriving and growing in line with our business model.

DKTraining

The Dogknows training programme is all-encompassing and tailored to each franchisee.

Ten days of training are included in the initial fee and are mixed between classroom learning (4 days), practical training of dog handling techniques (3 days) and on-the-job experience (3 days).

Franchisees learn how to promote, operate and grow a Dogknows business and are prepared to deliver the specially-developed services that mark us apart from the rest of the industry.

Daily Life of a Franchisee

DKThe first year of operation will be busy as franchisees promote their business locally. Client numbers will grow steadily and require support at least three times each week with group or single dog walks and puppy visiting for training and socialisation. After 12 months it will be time to start growing a team of helpers to meet further demand.

The Dogknows business system makes scheduling and admin easy and regular coaching from Dogknows Central will provide maximum support.
