Christian Wilse master franchisee for UK says, “We were lucky to welcome someone with Mike’s care experience to the Seniors Helping Seniors team”
Mike brings year’s of experience running a hugely successful elderly care company. He started his first care company from scratch and was franchise of the year in 2014.
A seasoned franchisee, Mike’s first franchise was Insurance. He moved to care where he says his heart lies and he ran two territories.
Fresh from some travelling, Mike watched in horror as the country left the elderly to fend for themselves during the lockdown and Mike bought his Seniors Helping Seniors franchise to help people as they look for viable care options.
He and Christian and Sally Wilse signed Mike’s franchise agreement at the height of lockdown early summer 2020. The agreement and training process was adapted for social distancing and the deal was sealed with an elbow-bump.
Mike knows why traditional elderly care companies struggled during the pandemic and he went looking for a solution that was fit for purpose because he wanted to pitch in and help.
“Seniors Helping Seniors offer the care people need at a fair price. The simplicity of flat fees is really important because people need to budget for the long term and I love everything about the carer policies of the brand.
“Seniors Helping Seniors pays carers properly and supports them fully. Carers work when they want to and I know how vital that is. The brand gives the time needed to each client, matching staff with the relevant life experience, interests and personality. This is very special, and it is a breath of fresh air compared to traditional home care companies.”
Mike knows the positives that come with being ‘out of scope with the CQC’ and the positive impact it will have on his business.
