Millenials invest in their future with an Autosmart Franchise

Four new Autosmart franchisees join the Autosmart network this summer, three of whom are in their mid-twenties, making Autosmart a popular choice for millenials.

Matt Richardson, aged 24 already has a taste of being self-employed, repairing and painting vehicles and buying and selling commercial vans. Not afraid of hard work, Matt wanted a business that would give him the opportunity to reap the rewards of the effort he puts in. He started to attend franchise shows, but nothing quite matched what he was looking for, until he discovered an Autosmart franchise for sale on Facebook. 

Matt tells us, ‘I chose Autosmart as I felt that their process gave me an opportunity to gain an insight into a typical ‘day in the life’ and to ensure that I enjoyed the work, before making any commitments.

Sam Hederington, aged 25, has been working as a salesman for an very successful and experienced  Autosmart franchisee in Northampton, Ian Gosling for the last 3 and 1/2 years and felt that the time was right to push himself to go it alone. Sam tells us, “I’m very excited to become my own boss and achieve all that I’ve dreamed about.  I’m a very driven and goals orientated person and so this franchise is definitely the route for me.  A favourite product line to sell must be the range of traffic film removers as unlike any competitor, the Autosmart range is so extensive there is always a product for every customer.”

Josh Jillians, aged 24 is taking over from Simon Butler in the Maidstone area.  Coming from a desk job, working as a Technical Support analyst, Josh is taking a big leap into self-employment with a van-based franchise.  He has always been familiar with the Autosmart range of products though, as he’s an avid detailer and his father used to purchase Autosmart products from Simon Butler.

Josh tells us, “I wanted to invest in building a future for myself and my family, with a reputable brand that has a great business model. My passion is cars and trucks, so to be able to integrate selling a fantastic brand with my hobby is a perfect blend!”

So far, I’m most impressed with Cobalt, G101 and Blast – they are easy to use, simple and very effective to use on all applications”.

And finally, not quite a millennial, but eager to become his own boss, Darren White joins us and will be covering the Huddersfield area. He currently works as an area manager for a contract valeter and would like to be in control of his future and enjoy some of the flexibility that being self-employed brings.

Darren tells us, “I’ve worked in the automotive industry for 20 plus years and enjoyed a good career with a national contract valeter.  I want to progress; challenge myself more and get some work/life balance back. The Autosmart Franchise in Huddersfield was too good an opportunity to miss.
