The UKs largest lettings agency Martin & Co has welcomed a new member of staff to the marketing department at their head office in Bournemouth. Lucy Wooldridge has joined the team in a permanent role as marketing assistant, replacing current work placement student from Bournemouth University, James Leigh.
Lucy, who is a graduate of from Bournemouth University, has with a degree in event management and completed a work placement with The Peverel Group, where she was the marketing and communication assistant. After graduating in 2009, Lucy worked for Countrywide Estate Agents where she developed further knowledge of the property industry and co-ordinating various marketing efforts.
Her role at Martin & Co will be a varied one, including providing marketing support to the entire franchise network which is now over 170 offices – working alongside Jayne Codling, Martin & Co’s Marketing Director – as well as public relations and communications work.
On her appointment Lucy commented: “I am extremely pleased to be working for such a successful and fast growing business and am excited about developing my new role and skill set”. She added: “Marketing is my passion and I’m looking forward to offering my expertise and developing a career within one of the UK’s leading residential lettings and property management businesses”.
Jayne Codling is delighted with the marketing department’s latest addition. She said: “With just under 90 offices in 2006 when I first started, it’s great to have Lucy as part of the team, with over 170 offices throughout the UK there’s plenty to be getting on with.”
