New bfa board of directors for 2018 confirmed

The British Franchise Association (bfa) is delighted to confirm its new board of directors for 2018, covering the next 12 months.

The bfa congratulates and welcomes: 

The newly elected Full Board member appointments of:

  • Steve Watson, Agency Express
  • Abel Campos, McDonald’s Restaurants
  • Paul Thompson, Water Babies

The re-elected Full Board member appointments of:

  • Trevor Brocklebank, Home Instead Senior Care (Chair)
  • Sean Derrig, Chemex International

The newly elected Associate Board member appointment of:

  • Sean Goldsmith, Shuttercraft

The re-elected Associate Board member appointment of:

  • Louise Harris, Wilkins Chimney Sweep 

To ensure it represents all stakeholders in franchising, the bfa’s board comprises 11 Full Members, 2 Associate Members, 3 Affiliate Members (professional advisers, one of which must be a legal expert), 3 Franchisees, and the CEO. All franchisor and affiliate positions are nominated and elected by members, guaranteeing that the Association’s governance and direction is driven by its membership.
