As demand for quality homecare continues to rise across the UK, one franchise network has been quietly building the foundations to meet it.
GoodOaks Homecare recently brought together more than 70 Franchise Partners and Registered Managers from across the country for its annual conference, themed around Scaling Excellence. The event reflected the growing maturity of a network supporting clients across the UK, which has recorded four Good and one Outstanding CQC inspection results so far in 2026.
The conference, held at The Swan at Streatley, brought together representatives from across the network for a day of learning, collaboration and discussion. Attendees heard from keynote speaker Katie Bland on Strategic Relationship Building, alongside specialist sessions covering recruitment, compliance, technology and business growth. Roundtable discussions explored AI in care, recruitment and retention, and regulatory developments across the sector.
Ben Ashton, Co-Founder of GoodOaks Homecare, said:
“Seeing so many Franchise Partners and Registered Managers in one room never gets old. This network has come a long way since I started out as a carer with a belief that people deserved better support at home.
What strikes me most is how willing people are to tackle the big issues together. Workforce pressures, recruitment, the growing role of technology, compliance, building businesses that last. These aren’t small challenges, but they’re ones we’re far better placed to face as a network than alone. That collaborative spirit is what drives standards up across the board, and ultimately that’s what makes the difference for the people we care for.”
Founded by a former frontline carer, GoodOaks Homecare has grown into a national franchise network while maintaining a strong focus on care quality, compliance and the development of its Franchise Partners. The business supports Franchise Partners to build sustainable, locally rooted homecare businesses backed by established systems, training and operational support.
As the homecare sector continues to evolve, GoodOaks remains focused on raising standards, supporting the people who deliver care and helping more people across the UK to live well at home.
