Greene King Pub Partners is celebrating reaching 100 franchise pubs, just over four years after launching its first franchise concept, Hive Pubs, in late 2021.

The milestone reflects the growth of Greene King’s franchise model and the appeal of a supported route into running a pub business. Its franchise offer gives operators a ready-to-trade pub, a proven framework, induction training, marketing support, key operating systems and ongoing guidance from dedicated Business Development Managers.

Growth has continued at pace, with Greene King Pub Partners opening 30 new franchise pubs in 2025, including expansion into Scotland under the Belhaven brand. The development of Hive Pubs and Nest Pubs has also given operators different formats to suit the type of pub business they want to run, from community-focused pubs with food, entertainment and live sport to simpler drinks-led models.

Looking ahead, Greene King plans to open a further 30 Hive and Nest franchise pubs in 2026, while expanding into Wales and the Southwest.
