Papa John’s re-opens in Dover after a five-year absence with a new team, fresh store and fresh location.  The Dover Papa John’s at St. James Retail Park will now be run by experienced multi-unit franchisee Amir Afzal, supported by a store manager plus a new, locally recruited and trained team of fifteen.
 
Amir Afzal who also runs Papa John’s in Folkestone in Kent comments:  “Dover is a great town and now we have been able to secure a prominent, central location with plenty of parking, we will be delighted to deliver our great pizzas made with only the freshest, finest ingredients to the local community.”

Amir previously ran his own successful travel agency in Singapore for five years and, prior to that, worked for Levi’s® in Pakistan as a Human Resource Executive for ten years before joining Papa John’s as a franchisee in 2017.  He explains how running multiple stores offers a number of advantages:  “Economies of scale when it comes to ordering, marketing and also recruitment can offer a competitive advantage.  However, securing a great location is essential too.
