In Barrett & Coe founder Andrew Coe’s latest video, he meets Barrett & Coe franchisees Mark and Lyn who run their franchised studio in Shrewsbury. They opened in September 2022 and what they have achieved in that time has been amazing.

Prior to opening the studio, they had absolutely no photography experience but have already won two awards for their photography and received many fantastic reviews from customers. Their diary is pretty full, and they love owning their studio. They told Andrew “It’s brilliant. It’s hard work, very hard work but very rewarding. It’s great having people coming in that want to be here. They are happy to turn up and have a laugh with us and have a giggle. We keep it nice and relaxed here.”

Andrew told us: “Creating images of loved ones and pets provides real job satisfaction. In my 60 years across many areas of photography, the best 10 years were being a portrait and wedding photographer. I am often stopped in the Norfolk area by people keen to tell me they still have images I took more than 20 years ago on their walls at home.“
