Friday, 24 June 2022, was a little different for our swim school founder, Angela Wilson. After being invited into the studio, Angela stepped into the studio, put on a set of headphones and spoke about her swim school on Made in Kent radio.

In a clever innovation to support local business the station replaces the playing of traditional recorded commercials in between music with regular broadcasts of business profiles and interviews that showcase a wide range of local organisations with Kent origins and other general interest business items, such as wellbeing and finance.

The recording took place during the all-important Drowning Prevention Week. With holiday season fast approaching and a time when accidental drownings most often occur, Angela was keen to explain to presenter Matt James what can be done to positively impact children’s safety.
