Visiting Angels UK setting the standards around the world

Visiting Angels Living Assistance

As the in-home care provider, Visiting Angels, continues to solidify its rapidly growing reputation as the UK’s employer of choice in the care sector, its network of exceptional franchisees and care staff are setting the standards for care delivery across the globe. The care brand recently held its international conference in Florida, with Lynn and Chris James of Visiting Angels North Surrey proudly bringing home the Best International Office Award.

Lynn and Chris, along with their team at Visiting Angels North Surrey, have been recognised for their excellent performance over the last 12 months. This has cemented the reputation that Visiting Angels UK are continuing to set within the sector and as a community, with UK offices having won the award two years in a row and three times out of the last four years. Showing no sign of slowing down, Lynn and Chris, who launched their business in 2020, have brought the award back to North Surrey motivated even further to continue raising the international standards for the brand.

“We’re delighted to have had our team’s efforts and commitment recognised through winning the Best International Office Award,” explained Lynn. “To have only launched two years ago and already have our work celebrated like this is a huge achievement. It couldn’t have been done without collective commitment and belief in what we do. We’re all so devoted to raising the standards of care provision in the United Kingdom, and to have our ongoing work affirmed on an international scale is something that will continue to drive us over the next 12 months and beyond.”

Visiting Angels’ ‘carer-centric’ approach sets it apart from other companies in the in-home care sector. Carers working for Visiting Angels feel valued and respected for their commitment to the industry. Through both financial rewards, opportunities for career development and wellbeing considered a priority, the care provider is committed to addressing these existing issues surrounding the industry, which often leaves carers feeling underappreciated and undervalued.

Dan Archer, the Managing Director of Visiting Angels, believes it is thanks to his exceptional franchisees such as Chris and Lynn James that the care franchise is delivering on its promise of positively reforming the care sector.

“Lynn and Chris James, along with their brilliant team at North Surrey, are an example of how the international Visiting Angels network is trailblazing in the care sector,” said Dan. “Our incredible franchisees are the real reason why we’ve won the Best International Office Award three times in the last four years. And as we continue to set the precedent for how care should be delivered in the UK, that number will only increase as more of our team will be recognised for their equally incredible efforts.”
