Papa John’s franchisee opens four new stores, now has 14

Papa John’s franchisee Tony Singh, who first invested in the brand in 2002, has taken over four more pizza outlets – three in Milton Keynes and a further store in Colchester, Essex – to take his franchise empire to 14 stores in the south east.

“Tony is one of our most capable and successful franchisees and after eleven years, he is still hungry for success,” explains Anthony Round, business development manager, Papa John’s. “Before joining Papa John’s, Tony worked for a rival pizza delivery company and prior to that was a delivery driver. This experience, combined with Papa John’s comprehensive training and support programme over the years, has been important to help him and his team understand all aspects of the franchise business and grow a significant portfolio of outlets.

“One way to capitalise on the potential of running a Papa John’s franchise is to manage multiple franchised stores. Tony has been quick to appreciate this and has plans to expand through further store acquisition in the future. Our management team is looking forward to continuing to support Tony in his mission to expand the brand.”

Papa John’s is one of the largest pizza companies in the world, with around 4,000 stores worldwide and is rapidly expanding in 33 markets around the globe.  First pioneered in the USA, the Papa John’s concept is to only use the highest quality ingredients and 100% fresh dough to create a top quality pizza with a better natural flavour.
