Paul Nuth Shortlisted in British Ex-Forces in Business Awards

Driving Miss Daisy, the UK’s only Driving and Companion Service franchise, is delighted to announce that its UK founder Paul Nuth has recently been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2020 British Ex-Forces in Business Awards in the prestigious Innovator of the Year category.

The British Ex-Forces in Business Awards is the world’s largest celebration of military veterans in second careers. The annual programme and event uncovers the achievements of ex-military, presenting them as important role models for current and future service leavers. The awards highlight the military-gained skills and values that have helped enable their second career success and recognise the organisations that have supported them.

Paul Nuth says, “Starting and developing the Driving Miss Daisy franchise network in our country has been by far the most rewarding part of my working life. Through our wonderful people we make the most positive of differences to the lives of the vulnerable”

They received over 500 amazing nominations for this year’s awards, a record number, so making it onto the shortlist as a finalist is a fantastic news for Paul and the unique service he helped set up almost 6 years ago after spotting Driving Miss Daisy in New Zealand in February 2014.
