RIGHT AT HOME UK CELEBRATES ‘5 STAR EMPLOYER’ STATUS FOR THIRD YEAR RUNNING

National homecare franchise Right at Home UK is the proud recipient of a 5* Employer Award for a third consecutive year. This comes from the results of a network-wide anonymised CareGiver Satisfaction Survey, run annually by the independent research company, WorkBuzz.

In addition to the network’s national award, 27 individual Right at Home offices also achieved local 5* Employer status. 

A total of 1,821 CareGivers took part in the Satisfaction Survey – highlights from the results include:

• 93% would recommend Right at Home’s care services

• 93% are proud to work for Right at Home

• 90% of CareGivers would recommend Right at Home as a great place to work

Commenting on the results of the CareGiver Satisfaction Survey, Ken Deary, Right at Home UK’s CEO commented: “The network’s investment in this annual survey reflects our commitment to ensuring the very best training and support for our care teams.

“Our CareGivers are the beating heart of our business and without them, we would not be able to deliver the high-quality care we are known for, so these surveys really are of great importance to us. From the results, each office will devise a plan of action to respond and implement changes, based on the valuable feedback provided by our CareGivers.”

The network also invests in an annual Client Satisfaction Survey. This year’s survey was completed by 980 Clients and highlights from the survey include:

• 97% agreed their CareGivers make a positive difference

• 96% of Clients surveyed would recommend Right at Home

• 95% said their CareGivers are well matched to their care needs

Ken added: “To receive these results, based on the past 12 months where we have worked against a very challenging landscape, is a fantastic achievement and pays testimony to the tremendous efforts of our network.

“I’d also like to express my gratitude to all of our Clients and CareGivers who took the time to complete these surveys. It is our collective mission here at Right at Home to be the UK’s most trusted homecare brand, as a provider of care and as an employer, and this valuable feedback plays a key part in helping us to achieve our mission.”

Fresh on the back of these results, on Friday 23 April at the national Home Care Awards, Right at Home UK was once again recognised for its staff wellbeing, recruitment and retention. The provider won the award for ‘Recruitment, Retention and Staff Expertise’ and Right at Home’s Portsmouth office was announced as the winner of the ‘Team Support’ category. The provider also achieved highly commended during the awards, for its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
