London-based TaxAssist Accountants business partners Debbie Corbett and Vince Dalaimo, who recently reached the landmark of a £1million fee bank for the first time in company history, have been awarded the network’s Franchisee of the Year title.
The pair, who last year were awarded Fastest Growing Business by the franchise, received the accolade at a national awards ceremony held on Saturday 20 April at the Celtic Manor Hotel in Newport, South Wales.
Debbie and Vince run three shops in Holborn, London Bridge and Victoria, employing a team of 20 and working with more than 1,300 clients, offering tax and accountancy advice to the small business community across London.
The pair bested over 200 nationwide franchisees to take home the award. Vince commented: “We are delighted to have been given this accolade; to be recognised by our peers and colleagues within TaxAssist Accountants is a huge compliment and something we are both very proud of. It’s so satisfying to work so closely with our clients across London. Managing the tax and accountancy aspect of their business means they can concentrate on more important things, like growing and developing their business and achieving their ambitions for the future.”

Mike Turnbull,who runs TaxAssist Accountants in Stockton, Darlington, Redcar and Yarm, was awarded the Fastest Growth accolade at the same ceremony after driving his business to cover more than 1,000 clients across the north-east.
