Tis Tutor Doctor’s season to celebrate a year of success

December 19, 2019

Tutor Doctor just celebrated its tenth year since landing on British soil, and the team have welcomed 19 new faces into the network in the past 12 months.

The three recruits from the latest training class will manage a team of tutors and work closely with families to identify the needs of local students. The budding business owners will be following in the success of many before them who have helped make the UK one of the most successful markets for Tutor Doctor, which has consistently shown the fastest growth in like-for-like sales since the launch of the first territory in Surrey, in 2009. Teresa Lo recently launched her business in Sunbury and is hoping to replicate the success of previous franchisees, using their achievements to bolster herself in her local community.

“I wholeheartedly believe in Tutor Doctor’s vision of changing the trajectory of children’s lives. It’s as real passion of mine to help the children in my local community and support them with their learning. Tutor Doctor immediately jumped out at me as it’s a respectable brand that is doing the right thing for the greater good – it was extremely important for me to find something that resonated with me personally too.”

Teresa joins the network of 70+ franchisees as Tutor Doctor rounds off its 10th year in style. She attended training alongside fellow new recruits Sylvia Clark and Mark Grainger, who open their offices in Acton and Chelmsford respectively. All three franchisees share the same passion for education and making an impact on students’ lives. Combine that with the industry that proves to be as lucrative as ever and they’re ready for a brand new decade of success.
