Graeme McKinnon, CEO and founder of Why Leadership, describes himself as a leader who is still on his own leadership journey, continually developing and learning. The most recent development is becoming an affiliate member of the British Franchise Association on April 23rd.

Why Leadership focuses on nurturing and developing leadership capability and starts by helping leaders get clarity about their own ‘WHY’ and, ultimately, their sense of purpose. It was following a successful five-year project where Graeme helped position Cash Generator for acquisition by a private equity firm and then onto a successful franchisee-management buyout, that he decided to launch Why Leadership.
With over 16 years’ experience gained at board level with three well-known franchise businesses, Graeme is well placed to provide franchisors and franchisees with a range of bespoke franchise consultancy services. Ever since Graeme’s first career in nursing, he’s had a strong desire to help other people and when he moved into business, Graeme naturally found himself in a position where his coaching and leadership work came with the same level of compassion.
