Children’s Activities Week

Children’s Activities Week (CAW) is a celebration dedicated to highlighting the importance of children’s activities and the positive impact they have on families across the UK. Organised by What’s On 4 Kids, CAW raises donations for the charity Caudwell Children.

Founded with the mission of promoting the well-being and development of children, CAW brings together a diverse community of businesses, parents, educators, and supporters to advocate for the benefits of engaging children in enriching activities.

At the BFA, we take immense pride in our members who work tirelessly to enhance the lives of children across the UK. We want to shine a spotlight on them during this week and showcase their passion, dedication, and the incredible impact they have on the lives of young ones and their families.

At its core, CAW aims to raise awareness about the countless opportunities available to children through participation in activities, clubs, and classes. By encouraging children to explore their interests, develop new skills, and foster meaningful connections with peers and mentors, CAW strives to empower children to thrive and reach their full potential.

CAW plays a crucial role in emphasising the significance of children’s activities in promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Through engaging in a wide range of activities, children not only have fun and express themselves creatively, but they also learn valuable life skills, build confidence, and develop social bonds.
