Although domestic cleaning is our core service, the brand and model can work for other services too and we intend to expand our list of services over time.
Although a new brand, One Less Thing is led by established franchisor Daniel Atherton. Daniel has been a franchisor since 2016 and has a track record of helping franchisees create successful and profitable businesses.
Key to the strength of One Less Thing is its excellent management software. This makes running the One Less Thing business very simple and is designed to allow your business to scale, maximising your profit potential.
Training is an important part of how we support you to understand and follow our business model and profitability, starting with three days initial training and continuing with ongoing support throughout your first six months (and beyond).
During the initial training we’ll help you setup the elements you need and begin your cleaner and client recruitment. This can be delivered via Zoom and in person at our HQ and your territory.
We also host roundtable Zoom calls with franchisees. These are a great opportunity to share ideas, talk through the latest developments and help with any challenges you may be facing.

As a One Less Thing franchisee you’ll bring together your skills, a friendly and personable approach and our simple and proven model to arrange domestic cleaning services for local clients.
You’ll use the marketing approach and resources that are proven to generate client enquiries and cleaner applications for your business. You’ll then follow these up using our simple, methodical process which is systemised in our unique management software.
You’ll make money by helping local clients understand their domestic cleaner needs, then placing them with approved cleaners that have passed our thorough vetting process. Clients then pay you a regular, recurring agency fee.
