Canopy Nurseries, recently named a finalist for Emerging Franchise of the Year at the European Franchise Awards, has marked a major milestone with the simultaneous opening of two new nurseries on the same day.
On Friday 29th August, Canopy Frogmore House in Watford and Canopy St Luke’s Chapel in Wickford were launched, welcoming families to two newly renovated listed building developments.
The Watford launch was attended by the Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, and Sam Wise, Marketing Manager at the British Franchise Association, who joined the celebrations alongside franchisees Dev Devani and Deepa Samani.
Sarah Charles, Founding Director of Canopy Nurseries, said:
“To open two nurseries in one day, both within listed building developments, is a significant achievement for Canopy. It reflects the strength of our franchise model and the appetite from families for a modern and immersive approach to early years education. We are proud to support franchisees who share our vision and passion, and who are helping us bring Canopy’s values to life in their local communities.”
Canopy Nurseries continues to expand, with further sites due to open in Bounds Green and Uxbridge before the end of 2025. Every setting has now achieved Green School accreditation, underlining the brand’s commitment to sustainability alongside educational excellence.
