Trevor Brocklebank and his team at Rise have welcomed new franchisee, Ben Selby, to the network. Ben has acquired not one but two Rise franchise territories: Mid & South Cheshire and Stoke & Kidsgrove.

Ben is a young franchise ‘veteran’. He already owns two Right at Home franchise territories with three offices in the Cheshire area and sees a Rise franchise as a natural extension.

Speaking about his new multi-brand, multi-unit status, Ben said, “I have known Trevor for a number of years and was excited to hear that he had set up Rise.

“I was keen to find out more and quickly realised the synergy between my home care business and a Rise franchise.

“Both are focused on wellbeing and both require excellent links into the local community.

“Home care is all about making a positive impact on people’s lives and Rise allows us to extend that even further by supporting a wide range of people of all ages across the local community.”

And the synergies don’t stop there. Functions such as networking, scheduling and recruitment can be shared across both franchise businesses, bringing economies of scale. Commenting on this aspect, Ben said, “There is also the opportunity to share team members across the two businesses which is exactly what I’m doing.

“My community engagement lead, Carole Salmon, is now working across both Rise and Right at Home – it makes sense as the people she needs to network with are the same for both businesses; it’s a real win, win as she loves it.”

In welcoming Ben to Rise, Trevor said, “We are really excited to have Ben on board as a multi-unit owner. His experience in the home care space is invaluable and is helping to super-charge his launch owning to the many relevant contacts he has.

“As a home care franchisee, we also know that wellbeing and community support are important to him. We can’t wait to see where he takes his Rise franchise.”Rise was launched in 2021 and is now operating in 23 locations across the UK.
